Just kidding, that would be too cruel. For all that they bicker, Eustace doesn't actually hate the man. There are worse people on this planet by far than Dokja, and people he trusts less to fill in the blanks for him. (When had they reached this state of hesitant trust? He doesn't remember.)
The reassurance, while appreciated, does little to quell the anxiety that still swirls inside him, and the offer to recount his apparently missing (?) memories gets put on hold for the time being, Eustace opting instead to ask a question of his own. ]
Are you speaking from experience? About getting memories back?
