FIRST IMPRESSIONS

5'9" / 176cm, looks like he doesn't eat enough. His hair and eyes are black. Always has dark circles under his eyes and appears exhausted. He's (concerningly) pale, has long eyelashes, has scars on his hands and body, plus some burn scars as well. In Kenos, he dresses comfortably and casually, usually in pants and t-shirts for Springstar's weather. There's not a lot of color to his closet, with blacks, grays, and some whites being the most prominent. He keeps his hair at the same length that you see in his icons.

He flips back and forth from having a neutral expression to smiling. There's always a bit of sadness to his eyes, which can go from looking dead and lifeless, to shining like there are stars in them. When he transforms into a Demon King, he grows horns on his head and two large, black, feathered wings on his back.

UPDATE: His right eye has a faint yellow ring around the iris.

Kim Dokja grew up in an abusive home. His father regularly beat his mother and would do the same to Dokja who was only a young child at the time. His mother would try her best to protect him, instilling in him a love of stories and books that he could escape to, but it wasn't enough. One day, late in the evening, his father was drunk as he usually was and started swinging a kitchen knife at his mother, threatening to kill her. Dokja stepped out of his room at the commotion and watched as his mother threw herself at his father, causing him to drop the knife.

Dokja picked up the knife, and in the next moment, his father slipped and impaled himself on the knife, bleeding to death not long after. Shocked by the event, Dokja lost his mind, and when he came to, his mother rewrote the "story" and took on all the blame, turning the evidence on herself, and convincing her child that she had been the one to murder his father.

Just like that, Dokja lost both his parents that night as his mother was taken away by the authorities.

His distant family members grudgingly took him in, but they were cold toward Dokja and ignored him, leaving him to fend for himself.

And then his life became a million times worse when his mother published a best-selling book about the murder she had committed. Dokja's life no longer became his own as he was tossed under the public's scrutinizing gaze. He was hounded by both reporters and common people who had read the book, and alienated from and bullied by his classmates who called him the son of a murderer.

When it became too difficult to bear, when he was only a middle schooler, Dokja threw himself out of the third story window of his classroom.

He survived the attempt, but landed himself in the hospital. There, he found himself alone once more and used the hospital's computer to turn to his usual webnovels for an escape. It was on that fateful day that he encountered "Three Ways to Survive in a Ruined World." He was immediately drawn to the first chapter for inexplicable reasons and hooked from then on. He decided to live in order to read the chapter uploads, using Ways of Survival as a reason to stay alive, and grew attached to the regressor protagonist, Yoo Joonghyuk, who never gave up and kept fighting in each and every regression. ABILITIES & SKILLS

Omniscient Reader's Viewpoint

Stages one and two allow him to look into the thoughts and emotions of the characters of Ways of Survival. Stage three allows him to temporarily take control of the character when he's on the brink of death. This ability will only work on characters of Ways of Survival.

Bookmark

Allows him to copy the skills of Ways of Survival characters. Again, this will only work with characters from the novel. His Bookmark skills have a time limit, and in order to nerf them further for in-game play, the skills will have a shorter duration of effect than usual. Maybe like 10-15 minutes. The skills he will be bringing with him are:

• Way of the Wind: Manipulates wind and air. Can also use it to run faster and walk on water. Has used it before to suffocate enemies by creating a vacuum-like chamber that removes air.
  
• Beast King's Sensitivity: Covers his body in a white, fur-like coat that protects him from physical damage.
  
• Electrification: Allows him to control and manipulate powerful lightning, using it to pierce through his foes. Also helps him run fast.
  
• Miniaturization: Shrinks him and his clothes/weapons. Around the size of a person's hand.
  
• Guard: Can place a protective barrier/shield over someone else and prevent them from being harmed.
  
• Avatar: Makes it so that Dokja can make "copies" or avatars of himself. In order to do this, he has to give the avatar a portion of his memories. If the avatar were to be killed, the memories placed in the avatar would also disappear forever.

Constellation

As a constellation (beings that have ascended from being an incarnation/normal human being due to the influence and prevalence of their stories), Dokja has a "status" that he can open or freely adjust that basically overpowers all creatures weaker or lower in status than him. Extremely powerful statuses can even kill all those surrounding the constellation, but Dokja's status isn't strong enough to do so. He also has a "True Voice" that he can speak with, and regular human beings are greatly damaged by hearing a constellation's True Voice, either bleeding from the ears or vomiting blood before passing out. Oh, and he can also use telekinesis. For nerfs, maybe opening his status causes some pain but not an overwhelming/debilitating pain and just sort of stuns the people around him for a short time? As for True Voice, the nerf from Aion looked fine which was "His "True Voice" can be used to hurt people in an area of effect, but only in bursts, and will essentially be subject to an endurance save."

Demon King Transformation

What it says on the tin. Dokja became a Demon King during the scenarios, and is able to transform from looking like an ordinary human being into looking like a Demon King. This transformation includes two horns growing out of his head and two black feathered wings that he can use to fly. Also he exudes demonic energy? Demonic presence? Waves hand.

Angel Transformation

This is purely for the aesthetics, but he can also grow an additional four white feathered wings.

Lie Detection

Detects whether someone is lying or not. He can also use it on himself to prove to others that he's telling the truth.

Poker Face

A skill that neutralizes the effect of Lie Detection.

Lastly, Dokja is a skilled swordsman because of a sword master's story he placed on his right arm, has an affinity for magic because his heart is made up of a story from a dragon's heart, and his strength, durability, and agility are way above average. Keeping in line with power caps, his enhancements will rely on stamina and lessen the more he's pvping/using them.
